Words & Pictures newsletter now out
The latest issue of Words & Pictures, the British SCBWI newsletter, is now out. You can download it from the yahoo message board files section. Upon signing in, click on 'files'. The W&P newsletter file is called 'WordsPix_Winter-09.pdf'
The new issue features reports from last November's conference in Winchester. The featured artist is Alex Craggs. The editor is Eileen Ramchandran and the designer is the illustrator Manuela Pentagelo (who, incidentally, is based in Italy!).
Members who contributed to this issue are Anita Loughrey, Lee McGovern,Jackie Marchant, Sharon Tregenza, Philippa Roberts, Sue Hyams, Ellen Renner, Stephanie Williams, Anne M Anderson, and Claira Jo Craig, regional advisor of SCBWI Scotland.
Note: All members are added to the yahoo message board as soon as they join. The forum is a discussion board as well as a means by which we can share information about events and distribute the newsletter. Because we use the Yahoo system, members need a yahoo account (not the same as a Yahoo email address) to access this.
