Agent's Party 2011!

We have a confirmed date for the Agents Party 2011.

Everyone please diarise the 29th September 2011 for the event.  Cost will be £12, same as last year. 

The event is for members only.

It will once again be held at the Theodore Bullfrog near Charing Cross Station.  There will be a free drink and some snacks after the event.  Your names will also be entered into a draw for some one-on-one time with an agent and there will be up to four names drawn.

I am about to start approaching agents and will do my utmost to get as good a range as we had last year, with no small thanks to Miriam Halahmy for arranging all of them.  We will endeavour to have agents at the event who look after picture books, younger fiction, YA books as well as illustrators there and I will do my utmost to keep everyone informed as to how it goes.

I will be drawing up a booking form this week and it should be up shortly.  Cheques to be made out to SCBWI and are also non-refundable.  Places are limited to 70 attendees only - so it will be a first come, first served basis.
