TURNING PAGES 2008: Friday Night Critique

This is only the second year of the Night Before Critique Session but it felt like we'd been doing it forever! We split up into pre-assigned critique groups - picture books and chapter books - and had our sessions. Illustrator Sarah Macintyre kindly stood in for Anne Marie Perks, SCBWI's illustrator coordinator, wandering in amongst the PB people to add a professional voice. Of course we havent' got photos of the sessions - we were all working so hard! But here we are afterwards when we piled off to the Prezzo Restaurant in the centre of Winchester.

  Judging by my attempts at smiling to camera, I'm sure you have the first and last pictures (ie early evening and end of evening) in the wrong order! but a good set nonetheless.
